Munken is an environmentally friendly and ecologically sound paper produced at Munkedals, which is one of the worlds cleanest fine paper mills. Munkedals AB have been awarded the well-recognised ISO 14001, EMAS and carry the Nordic Swan Label. They are also working towards a variety of other environmental standards such as Pulp purchased from other environmentally friendly suppliers. For Artic Paper Munkedals AB, all environmental issues are of greatest importance. Munken is also FSC approved.
Munken Pure (light cream) and Munken Lynx (white) are uncoated wood free papers. They are surfaced-sized with a specially treated surface to ensure both good production economy and superior runnability. They have excellent bulk and opacity. Munken Pure and Munken Lynx are Laser and Inkjet compatible in the writing weight.
Munken Pure and Munken Lynx are high quality papers for original and economical annual reports, corporate stationery, advertising and promotional brochures, fashion books, calendars and leaflets. For letterheads, the recommended sheets size is 900 x 640mm. 400 g/m2 available on request.

Environment is made from partly post consumer or 100% post consumer waste. Environment is FSC certified and alternative Fiber certified made with 100% green Energy, GreenÐe and Green Seal certified and is process elemental chlorine free, ECF and Acid Free. Curious Metallics ‘an intense magnetism’ – form part of the curious collection¨ range from Arjowiggins Creative Papers. All Arjowiggins mills work constantly to reduce the environmental impact of paper manufacturing. All products in the curious collection are FSCª 70% mix source certified. These products use only elemental chlorine free (ECF) pulps from trees grown in sustainable forest. Arjowiggins mills are all ISO 14001 accredited based on the international Environmental Management Standard EMAS. The company has made significant investments in combined heat and power (CHP) generation, resulting in reduced green house emissions. Arjowiggins mills have continuous improvement programmes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Effluent waste is treated and most is reused in other processes.

Curious Metallics suitable for widely used print techniques, Digital printing Offset Lithography, Letterpress, embossing, debossing, silk-screening, die-stamping and foil-blocking so it is ideal for advertising and promotional material, reports covers, brochures, posters, greeting cards, invitations, box wraps, end papers, menus, cool stationery and very cool catalogue covers. The excellent die-cutting and scoring properties lend it to folders and diverse packaging applications. We recommend using fully oxidising inks, and 150 dpi screen rulings. To achieve a good gloss use silk-screen UV Varnish. The 120g/m_ is laser guaranteed.

The luxurious quality of Rives Tradition with its soft and subtle felt marked texture makes it a quality sheet for most printing processes such as Litho printing with conventional positive drying inks, although fully oxidising inks and UV inks may also be used as well as techniques such as varnishing, blind embossing, laser-cutting, film laminating, hot foil blocking.
